OPERATORS CONNECTIONS
CDLS-Consulting will undertake :
- The needs assessment in terms of leased line
- The identification of connections with or without multiplexing
- The configuration of specialized connections between two of your sites
- All checks of the service leased from France Telecom from junction to junction
- All compliance checks of the updating of your existing leased connections
- All checks of the migration operations from PDH to SDH
- Additional on-site exploratory visits to evaluate :
· breadth and conditions of work
· entry point on your site
· optical cable pathways
· pull box
· the entry point in your telecom control room
- The need assessment in terms of quality of specialized services (with costing/coding)
- Synchronization requirements
CDLS-Consulting will check with you :
- The minutes of on-site exploratory visits issued by the operator or his subcontractor
- The report of on-site installation of the equipment issued by the operator or his
subcontractor
- The report of on-site fibre optics routing issued by the operator or his subcontractor
- The initiation of the procedure for on-site access and opening of a building site
- The provision of the Hygiene and Safety Plan
- The building site: in accordance with the hygiene and safety plan and in respect
of the working hours and instructions in force on the site
- The estimated timetable for execution of the work
- The quality of the electric user interfaces
- The conformity of the local and remote exploitation interface
- The conformity of the equipment standards
- The conformity of mono or multimode fibres
- The summary plan of the dispatcher indicating wiring of the affluent, alarms, synchronization
- The final on-site report detailing the work completed, the materials installed,
the various interfaces and the wiring to the dispatcher
- The alarm reporting
- The clauses of maintenance in operational condition
- The levels of quality of requested service
- The data integrity services
- The guaranteed transit time services
- The reconfiguration service
- The modes of connection to the operator network
CDLS-Consulting will supervise :
- All meetings regarding the opening of the building site
- The timing of migration
- The counting duration
- The length of service outage (allowing to set up a penalty system to reduce the
leasing cost)
- The cost of accessing the service
- The installation work of the end of line terminal
- The civil engineering work if those are carried out by the operator or his subcontractor
- The pulling of fibres and their connection to the racks and to the splicing box
CDLS-Consulting will execute :
- The inspection of the access capacities installations
- The performance assessment of the point-to-point connections, for a given throughput
established between the two sites
- The performance assessment of the equipment of access to service (EAS), and of
equipment of final connection for delivery of the service to the end sites
- The civil engineering work and the installation of the transmission equipment,
and other specific work if necessary
CDLS-Consulting will provide you with :
- A summary of investigative visit
- A report describing the installation project
- Minutes of the various risk analysis meetings
- A statement of quality control of fibres (or coppers in the event of very low flow)
- A statement of quality control of the good performance of the telecommunication
equipment
- A statement of quality control of your alarm reporting system to your security
control entity (supervision of which can indeed be assured by CDLS-Consulting)
- A statement of quality control of the civil engineering work if necessary
- A statement of quality control of wiring and electric connections
- A report ensuring the performances are in agreement with the contractual values
defined in your technical specifications
- A report on the quality of the service
· guaranteed transit time
· guaranteed time of reconfiguration
· guaranteed alarm reporting
- A record of data integrity (if encoded)
- A report related to the synchronization (if necessary)
